Corporate hospitality booms for the Armor All Gold Coast 600
September 02, 2010
With just 50 days now remaining until the Armor All Gold Coast 600, the race is on for companies, large and small, to secure their position at Queensland’s premier motorsport event.
The event is set to hit the streets of the Gold Coast across Friday October 22 to Sunday October 24, and will see hundreds of local, national and international businesses represented in the first class corporate facilities located in key locations to view the V8 Supercar stars and their international co-drivers battle it out around the brilliant new 2.96km precinct.
On top of the racing, 16 Australian and international acts including headline acts such as Ian Carey, The Beach Boys, Empire of the Sun and Sneaky Sound System will take to the stage each night of the event, as part of the Rock ‘N’ Race format being implemented on the Gold Coast as the event undergoes a rebirth in its 20th year.
Armor All Gold Coast 600 Event Manager Kurt Sakzewski said the October event presents a prime opportunity for small businesses through to multinational corporations to host important clientele, network with other companies, seek new business and form partnerships.
“Here at V8 Supercars Australia we find that each year more and more companies seek to return to key events,” said Sakzewski.
“They come, experience the atmosphere and the associated benefits from a business perspective, and make it a tradition. That is why it is so important for companies to decide on their best hospitality option early and then book before demand exceeds availability.
“To those that haven’t yet been to the Gold Coast event or been a part of the corporate experience before, I strongly encourage you to get on board – with three days of racing and three nights of rocking, there is something for everyone this October.
“Given the recent economic times it has never been more important to build relationships with the lynch-pin members of your business – clients and employees – and there is no better way to do so than through an event such as the Armor All Gold Coast 600, which is certainly an experience they will never forget!”
This year corporate hospitality packages include a variety of Syndicated Clubs and Private Suites to cater from individuals to 250 people over the three days. Syndicated Clubs are shared facilities ideal for individuals or small groups, while exclusive Private Suites can be tailor-made and themed to seat 30 or more people per day.
All guests are able to watch the action within meters of the cars and through the on-track broadcast on television screens in their suite. Depending on which package is selected, there are also a wide variety of additional incentives including pit passes, mouth-watering catering, merchandise and private suite theming opportunities.
Paul Blair, Marketing & Channel Manager – Automotive, Clorox/Armor All, said there are numerous benefits of taking up a corporate package at the Armor All Gold Coast 600.
“The corporate package gives us a great opportunity to strengthen current relationships and create new partnerships,” said Blair.
“It’s a fantastic new event that we are very proud to sponsor and we cannot wait to look after our guests in first class comfort during the day and providing them with a unique rock experience on each night of the Armor All Gold Coast 600.”
