Patrons with limited mobility
North – Gold S23, S24 or S26 or Platinum S25 – if you chose this option you would have a 10 minute walk from Woodroffe, but please note once there you would have no easy access to either McIntosh Island or the other areas of the track. That said if you are happy to stay in one spot they are all excellent grandstands and there would be food and beverage available in this location.
West – Platinum 3 - take the disabled access under the highway at McIntosh Gate North and enter McIntosh Island at the north end. It would then be a gentle15 minute walk through Mac Island to the grandstand. You would then be on McIntosh Island which is where the main activities occur so you would be in the thick of it.
West - Platinum Stands 11 or 12 – not nearly so far as the other two options but in this case you would need to walk over the overpass (stairs) between Commodore Drive and the centre of the highway. Again there are limited food and beverage options available in this location.
