Queensland’s biggest party, the Armor All Gold Coast 600 October 21-23 has become one of the iconic events on the world event calendar. A fantastic mix of spectacular V8 Supercar racing and some of music’s biggest names.

28 leading international drivers the likes of Franchitti, Castroneves, Salo and Bourdais teaming up with home-grown heroes like Lowndes, Courtney, Tander and Whincup for a bruising fight on one of the world’s toughest street tracks.

At night the party gets started with Bliss n Eso headlining the Friday night concert which also includes Drapht, Potbelleez, Bag Raiders, Tonight Only and Illy.

The legendary Simple Minds headlines Saturday’s concert, taking to the stage after the Hoodoo Gurus, Eskimo Joe and Masters Apprentices.

V8 Supercars is without a doubt, Australia’s premier moptorsport category. The sport provides a domestic and international marketing platform from both a sporting and destination perspective. Over the past fourteen years, V8 Supercars has continued its rise towards becoming one of the highest attended sporting events in the country.

The V8 Supercars Championship is one of the worlds’ largest and best known touring car categories, recognised internationally as a leader in motorsport and entertainment.

The Championship consists of 14 events across Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East in 2011, as well as racing at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.
